Breakdown of services
In the next slides you will see a more in-depth explanation of each part of the services provided within the audit
Compressor Service
Annual compressor servicing is essential to maintain optimal performance and extend the unit's lifespan. Regular servicing ensures that the compressor operates efficiently, contributing to its longevity and overall reliability. This service not only enhances the equipment's performance but also safeguards your investment by minimizing the risk of unexpected breakdowns.
Generator Service
Annual servicing for your generator is crucial for preserving its peak performance and increasing its overall lifespan. Annual servicing acts as a preventive measure, helping to avoid surprise issues and ensuring that your generator remains reliable when needed.
PAT Testing
(Portable Appliance Testing)
PAT Testing ensures the safety of electrical appliances and equipment, in compliance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1998. It mandates the maintenance of potentially hazardous equipment to prevent injuries. Following HSE and electrical safety guidelines, our certified technicians aim to reduce electrical accidents by enforcing laws, promoting good practices, and adapting to technological changes. All our technicians are qualified through PASS (Portable Appliance Safety Services) and equipped with the latest tools.
LOLER & Calibration Testing
L.O.L.E.R inspections are a legal requirement and are part of managing the safe condition of mobile elevating work platforms. LOLER inspections should be carried out every 12 months at a minimum for lifting equipment - this includes testing of trolley jacks and axle stands.
Getting a torque wrench calibrated is essential in order to gets its accuracy verified. Apart from accuracy, calibration also measures the reliability of the jobs performed by the wrench from day-to-day working.
it is good practice to calibrate torque wrenches every 5,000 cycles, or once every 12 months.
Compressed Air Quality Testing
This test is designed to ensure the breathing air within the booths of the vehicle is safe, and checks that the control methods in place are delivering the air quality required.
Guidelines from EN12021, advises that samples should be taken and analysed at least once every three months (or more if there is change/concern).
Smoke and LEV Testing
All King's vehicles feature a dedicated booth room equipped with a timer for effective room clearance. An annual smoke test is conducted to ensure that your technicians work in a secure environment.
Unfortunately, many companies tend to overlook Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) testing due to a lack of understanding of its significance. LEV serves as an engineering control system designed to minimize exposure to airborne contaminants like dust, mist, fumes, vapor, or gas. These measures are crucial for maintaining a safe working environment and preventing respiratory issues.

Our comprehensive testing procedures ensure that these standards are consistently met, guaranteeing that the electrical systems within your vehicle are optimized for maximum safety.
Our quarterly vehicle service package takes care of scheduling all of these essential tests, within four services throughout the year, eliminating the need for you to remember, and ensuring your vehicle remains safe and compliant year-round.
